Sweet & Sauer is a Jackson-based fermented foods company. We offer artisan, fermented foods + beverages, teeming with probiotics and enzymes. To highlight the variety of seasonal flavors in Mississippi, we source most of our ingredients from local and organic growers. Our sauerkrauts and fermented vegetables are made in small batches with unique herbs and spices that reinvent traditional flavors. We also brew our kombucha in small batches using organic tea and flavor it with fresh, local fruits and organic spices.
Sweet & Sauer does not use heat, added water, or distilled white vinegar to our vegetable ferments because we want to keep our traditional foods alive. We hope to reinvigorate ancient and traditional forms of food preservation and share the wonderful flavors and health benefits of living, fermented foods.
